The Essex Community Garden

is a volunteer organization, providing residents with an opportunity to come together to promote locally grown,organic produce. 

Novice to expert gardeners are welcome!

The community garden is located behind the historic Pratt House at 19 West Avenue, just two doors east of the Town Hall. The garden has full sun all day and is fenced with a double deer fence. Plots are 10’x10’ and will be plowed in the spring, ready for planting.

The community garden has 13 individual plots to rent and 2 soup kitchen plots available for the 2010 growing season.
